Raindrop Stories - OY,JS and CM

One sunny day, Owen the Raindrop was having a rest in the ocean when he was hot.    Suddenly he was evaporating to the sky world with the other raindrops and they grew bigger and bigger to clouds.

 I fell down to the rainbow and I slide down to Japan and I evaporate again and we huddle together again, and come down as a rain into Japan’s river.    By OY

 I am a raindrop coming down and my friend and I went on a rainbow. 

It was fun doing it.

 We slid down the hill.

 My friends are called Brooke, Eva, Nina and Jess W.

We landed in some grass.

I come back to the sky.

The water cycle starts all over again.

He saw his friends and he was playing a game.

Then he was condensing.

He was getting heavier and heavier and then he fell.

He fell onto a rainbow and he slid down the rainbow. 

He saw a pot of gold and then jumped into the pot of gold.

He was evaporating. He saw new friends and made new adventures.

Hi, my name is Gabriella.

I have some long adventures.

It is quite fun.

I started in the river having a race with my friends and then we suddenly evaporated.

We flew up and turned into clouds. 

It was fun travelling.

When we rained down, we landed on a rainbow.

Then I slide down.

It was exciting.

I landed in a pot of gold.

It felt like a sponge.

Raindrop Stories - JW, MY and LS

My name is Jessica.

I am a snowflake.

I am landing on a mountain in the winter.

Me and my friend are lying next to my other friends and we are hanging off a mountain.

It is a big mountain. I have lots of friends.

Their names are Sammy, Jamie,  Nina, Cody, Eva, Owen and Jessica S

The snow is soft.

Then the snow turns into water.When spring comes, we are ready to start again.    

My name is Minnie the Raindrop. 

My life is very busy.

I have to travel around the world.

This is how.

First, I am a leaf floating on a river, then I float all the way to the sea.

Then suddenly, the sun comes out.

Me and my raindrop friends soon evaporated.

Then we went up to the top of the sky. 

 Then we fell on the mountain tops as snow. 

Then I said ‘I’ll have to wait until summer to go back on my trip.”   

I am water,

I am evaporating.

I fell on the river.

I turned into a cloud.

The cloud did roly pollies

A big thunderstorm made me rain.

I fell in a rainbow. 

Then I fell on a leaf. 

Next I am evaporating again.    

Junior Athletics Day

On Friday we had athletics. There was long jump, sprints,ball gamess, novelty games, ball throw, and obstacle course. We had a fun time.

On Friday we had our school carnival.  It was lots of fun.

The Slimeinator

Mr Hayward after being slimed.  Mr T wore a raincoat!!!!

Thank you Mr Hayward and Mr T for being good sports and letting yourselves be slimed. The children from Room 2 that did the Wipeout enjoyed that the most. Others enjoyed the horseriding.  LR liked the bouncy castle.  CM liked the coin throw.  Room 2 children liked the lollies.  Miss Lowans liked the pork roll and the Mr Whippy ice cream.

It was a super carnival.  Thanks to all the people who helped make it so.  We hope lots of money was raised for the school.

School Carnival Tonight

Room 2 is looking forward to the carnival tonight.  It is from 5pm -8pm.  Room 2 has done quick vote in class and most of the children would like to see Mr Heyward to be slimed.  Room 2 has made bubble wands and outdoor garden lamps to sell.

WAL how to change a liquid into a solid.

                        

We put tangelo juice into ice cube trays and put them in the freezer.

                    

We predicted that the juice might take 2 days to get into an ice block.

                        

We expect it to feel cold, and heavy.  

The toothpicks are there for us to hold the ice block.

We expect them to taste yummy.

          

                                 

We also got to taste the tangelos.
